Fantastic opportunity to join one of the UKs leading premium gift pack producers who supply gifting specialising in wine, spirits and speciality foods for high end and independent retailers. This role sits in the in-house design, technical and logistics teams which combined have responsibility for providing a fully bespoke service from design to delivery, providing innovative product and packaging concepts that are at the forefront of market trends.
The role has focus to ensure the smooth and timely import and export of gift components from across the Globe and arranging the packing and delivery of finished goods to customers ( B2B)
Responsibilities include liaising with and building relations with internal and external contacts including suppliers, freight forwarders and the warehouse. In addition, placing, chasing and raising payment requests for purchase orders in a timely manner, and liaising with customers to arrange deliveries, advise on stock levels and availability and expiry dates.
The role will suit a candidate who enjoys working as part of a team, has a high level of Microsoft Office, is customer focused, and able to work with changing deadlines. Experience of Import, Export, Freight forwarders, logistics and nterest in design / creativity is helpful though not essential.
